nFront Awarded Delaware and North Carolina State Bankers Associations' Exclusive Endorsements for Internet Banking
-- Associations support ABA's endorsement of nFront's nHome and nBusiness products as "Best in Class" --
ATLANTA, Feb. 2, 2000 - nFrontTM, Inc. (NASDAQ: NFNT, www.nfront.com), a leading Internet banking services provider for small- to mid-size financial institutions announced today it has received two leading state bankers associations' exclusive endorsements for Internet banking. The Delaware Bankers Association and Community Bank Services, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the North Carolina Bankers Association, have both supported the American Bankers Association's® (ABA) exclusive endorsement for Internet banking awarded to nFront in 1999.
The endorsements are supplemental to the ABA endorsement, issued by the Corporation for American Banking (CAB), an ABA subsidiary. Each individual state bankers association has the option to support the endorsements of the ABA. The Delaware and North Carolina Bankers Association reviewed and supported the ABA's award decision.
"Our charge was to identify the best in class provider of Internet banking services, which we found in nFront," said John Wolff, managing director and secretary of CAB. "The ABA endorsement carries with it our confidence that nFront's products and services have been thoroughly researched, tested and approved by bankers to support the industry's dynamic needs. The fact that Delaware and North Carolina chose to join the ABA's recommendation is a strong statement for nFront's capabilities."
"Winning the Delaware and North Carolina Bankers Associations' exclusive endorsement is a great honor and validation of the Internet banking solution we provide America's financial institutions," said Tripp Rackley, chairman and CEO of nFront. "But more importantly, the ABA and its member organizations have demonstrated their conviction that banks of all sizes, not just regional and national banks, have a great deal to gain from introducing Internet banking to their customers."
nFront received the ABA's exclusive endorsement after an extensive review of Internet banking solutions. The review was performed by the ABA in conjunction with Gomez Advisors, a respected independent authority on the Internet delivery of consumer products and services. nFront was named "best in class" based on the ABA's in-depth analysis of the company's management strength, financial soundness, Internet banking solution functionality, marketing capabilities and customer service standards.
nFront's nHomeTM and nBusinessTM Internet banking solutions offer reliability, scalability and ease of use for both end-users and bank operations staff. In addition to fully transactional Internet banking and cash management functionality, nFront's leading-edge technology offers financial institutions a valuable sales and marketing tool by allowing the bank to capture and mine valuable customer data on a secure platform for customer-specific marketing. nHome and nBusiness are the only "fat-server" Internet banking solutions designed specifically for small- to mid-size financial institutions.
