nFront Announces Comprehensive Package of Marketing Services to Promote Internet Banking

-- nAction expands nFront's Internet banking solution for financial institutions with array of services to increase penetration among bank customers --

-- Services include strategic planning, launch kit, employee training, welcome kits for bank customers, branch kiosk, quarterly promotions, and co-op advertising program --

ATLANTA, September 16, 1999 - nFrontTM, Inc. (NASDAQ: NFNT, www.nfront.com), a leading outsource provider of Internet banking services, today announced nAction, a comprehensive package of services to assist financial institutions in marketing Internet banking to consumers and small businesses.

The nAction program expands nFront's full Internet banking solution for small to mid-size financial institutions. The program bolsters nFront's commitment to help banks achieve market success with Internet banking quickly and economically. nAction includes marketing and education initiatives designed to build awareness of Internet banking and motivate customers to sign up for the new service.

"Banks need more than an Internet banking system - they require a complete solution for introducing this exciting new service to their customers," said Tripp Rackley, nFront's chairman and CEO. "nFront has made a substantial investment in helping financial institutions develop the market for Internet banking. The nAction program is specifically designed to remove many of the costs and risks for a bank to bring an Internet banking service to market. It focuses a wealth of expertise and resources on a step-by-step program to make Internet banking a complete success for the bank."

The program, Rackley noted, is backed by a multi-million-dollar budget over the next two years. To implement the program, nFront has assembled a team of Internet and marketing specialists with banking and consumer backgrounds. In their prior jobs, many nFront employees were responsible for developing awareness and use of Internet channels.

nAction includes five components:

1. Strategic planning before the initial launch to assist in the development of marketing plans and promotional strategies.

2. Internet banking marketing kit: a portfolio of resource materials to help banks brand and introduce their new Internet solution.

3. Marketing and advertising services: a customizable launch campaign, complete with target list development, mailers, ads and point-of-purchase promotions; quarterly campaigns to convert existing customers, acquire new customers, and increase usage of Internet bill payment; and a co-op advertising program.

4. Employee education: on-site training in Internet basics and Internet banking; Internet banking kiosk for employee training and customer demonstrations.

5. Customer support: a customer welcome kit delivered as a printed document or electronically by e-mail.

nAction is designed to be customizable and affordable for banks. Through economies of scale, the program can bring printing, creative and mailing costs far below the costs a bank would experience with an internally developed program.
